Yes. 100% of the Ada Heartland (Building 203), 100% of the Lima Heartland (Building 4250) and 90% of the Lima Heartland(Building 4224) are private. Our philosophy is to provide each resident with adequate space and privacy.
Each resident selects their preferred bedroom from those that are available. Bedrooms are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
No. Residential clothes washers and dryers (not coin-operated) are provided for the resident’s use.
Yes. The standard 12-month lease has a 9-month early termination option to allow students to go home over the summer. No lease or utility payments are due for the months of May/June/July. The 9-month early termination option will save you over $500 relative to the cost of the 12-month lease term.
No. The Heartland allows students to stay the first week of May, at no cost, to complete final exams if they have selected the 9-month early termination option.
No. Each resident has a separate lease agreement that is independent of other residents’ leases
Yes. The security deposit, which is equivalent to two months’ rent, is due when you reserve your room in order to hold the room for you. Your security deposit is then maintained by the owner until the lease ends.
Yes, if you selected the 12-month lease, all payments are current, your room and common areas do not require any significant repairs, your room has been cleaned, and all your personal items have been removed from the building. The full deposit is then mailed to you within 30-days of the lease termination date.
Rent and utility bills are due on or before the first day of each month.
Rent/utility payments can be made electronically (Venmo) or can be paid by check, cash or money order. The monthly rent and utility payment can be combined into one payment each month.
No, pets are not allowed in the building or on the Heartland property.
Yes, off-street parking is available.
